The purpose of the church is to
glorify God by fulfilling the Great
Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40) and the
Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). We
will accomplish our vision by
implementing our five purposes.
- Worship –“To participate
in public worship services together
and to maintain personal daily
devotions.” At the heart of worship
is celebrating the presence of God
and new life in Christ. (Mark
12:30-31; John 4:24)
- Discipleship –“To help
members develop toward full
Christian maturity and train them
for effective ministry. To promote
personal, spiritual growth and
discipleship through Bible
teaching.” (Eph. 4:11-13; Matt.
18:20; 2 Tim. 2:2)
- Fellowship –“To
encourage, support and pray for each
other as members of the family of
God. To share our lives together.”
(1 John 1:7, Acts 2:44-47; Heb.
10:23-25, Rom. 15:5, 7; John
13:34-35)
- Ministry –“To serve
unselfishly, in Jesus’ name meeting
the physical, emotional, and
spiritual needs of those in our
church, community and in the world.”
(1 Peter 4:10-11; Matt. 25:34-40, 1
Thess. 5:11; Gal. 5:13)
- Mission –“To share the
good news of Jesus Christ with as
many people as possible in our
community and throughout the world.”
(Matt. 28:18-20, Acts 1:8; 2 Peter
3:9).
Because Real Hope Community Church
desires to stay faithful to God’s call,
we are committed to being a community of

truthful messages of God’s eternal word
in a manner that you can apply to
everyday life.

God, ourselves and others.

toward reconciliation with God and one
another because we have been forgiven by
God through Jesus Christ.
Friendly... accepting people
where they are and showing a friendly
and loving attitude.
Grace Oriented... emphasizing
love, acceptance, compassion and
forgiveness.
Relational... personally being
involved with God and others.
Committed... to reaching Lake
Mills and the surrounding area for
Christ.
